Final books for Diesel Competition
7Unfortunately i did not get them properly printed to size as by the time i was finally going to get them done i discovered uni doesn't do back to back printing, although i do still intend on getting them printed to size as the whole point of them is that they are large standing table books.

Research and inspiration
Seonna Hong -
Seonna Hong is one of my favourite artists, her imagery is really charming and distinctive and i love her use of colour. What delightful work. She works in fine art as well as animation.

Good Ol' Quentin Blake - A particular childhood favourite of mine, he captures so much personality within his illustrations which give the characters so much life. I've included some faves from my past. I feel all nostalgic now looking at these, oh the wonders of the joint magnificent duo that was Roal Dahl and Quentin Blake!

Some final images and stages of finals

I have included some work in progress imagery just to show my process.

What would India lose? Lemons, limes, okra, sunflowers, cotton.....
Jamaica - would lose mangoes, coconuts, star apples....
Japan would lose their beautiful cherry blossom and peaches.....
